The project involves, among others, preparation of sites for protective measures, construction of a dam in Nowe Sady and three systems of lower passages for small vertebrates, revitalization of ponds, construction of wintering grounds for amphibians, and protection of the breeding habitats of the European pond turtle.
The strategic goal of the project is to protect the amphibian population in Natura 2000 areas in north-eastern Poland.
The "Man and Nature" Association is implementing a project aimed at reducing the presence of plants of foreign origin in selected Natura 2000 areas. The contract for co-financing from the funds of Priority V OPI & E was signed on February 27, 2014 at the seat of the Center for Environmental Project Coordination in Warsaw.
The main goal of the project is to identify the places where Impatiens glandulifera occurs - an invasive plant species of foreign origin, the ways of its spread and the most effective methods of reducing its population.
